Gatot Kaca (Ghatotkacha) Papercraft

I've been looking for this papercraft for a while. I finally found a download link of cute Gatot Kaca in the Ardiamada's blog . This Gatot Kaca is designed by Imanda Budiman. Gatot Kaca or Ghatotkacha in Sanskrit language is one of the characters in the Epic Story of Mahabharata. In Indonesia Gatot Kaca often equalized or even more powerful than superman, a super hero version of the west.

Nuclear Waste Drum Papercraft

Nuclear Waste Drum Papercraft
I saw radioactive drum photo on the net yesterday and I thought this would be good paper model, so here it is one sheet of pattern.  Nuclear waste is the radioactive waste left over from nuclear  reactors, nuclear research projects, and nuclear bomb production. Nuclear waste is divided into low, medium, and high-level waste  by the amount of radioactivity the waste  produces. Although nuclear waste can be very dangerous, and should not be handled by anyone without professional training, it is not necessarily more dangerous than chemical poisons such as ricin and botulin. Trophy - FIFA World Cup

This trophy is a request from friends, its scale is unknown. I modeled this paper model by looking at reference photos found on the web. I think this model would be cool on your desk, especially if you're a soccer fanatic. First awarded in 1974 and will pass to next football world champion in 2010 at South Africa. The World Cup is a gold trophy that is awarded to the winners of the FIFA World Cup. Since the advent of the World Cup in 1930, two trophies have represented victory: the Jules Rimet Trophy from 1930 to 1970, and the FIFA World Cup Trophy from 1974 to the present day.

Chinese Dragon

The Chinese dragon is a spiritual beast; a mythical creature with a long, snakelike body and sharp talons. Its image differs slightly to that of the Western dragon, being considered a sacred creature: a god that reigns over direction. In China, it is also used to symbolize the power of the emperor. The Chinese dragon is believed to control the weather, being responsible for causing tempests, lightning, and tornadoes. In its hand it holds a flaming pearl, thought to be harbinger of fortune and good luck. Feng Shui principles state that if you place a dragon ornament in the southeast corner of a building with a container of water, a dragon will come down to drink the water, improving your fortune in business and causing trade to flourish. Also a symbol of strength, the dragon is said to invite all kinds of luck. Leaving a dragon at the entrance to a building, on the right as you enter a room, or in the north corner is said to increase your luck in terms of wealth and love.

Zakumi Papertoy (2010 FIFA World Cup Mascot)

Even though 2010 FIFA world cup is in June, my friend Antho KD already prepares for that South African important event. He designed a world cup mascot papertoy, Zakumi papertoy. Zakumi or spirit of South Africa 2010 is a leopard. "Its young, vibrant, energetic, enthusiastic, sociable [and] self-confident," LOC chief executive Danny Jordaan said in Johannesburg on Monday night."All of those things will serve as an inspiration to both young and old, and generate excitement around the 2010 Fifa World Cup."

Chinese Phoenix

Known in Chinese as Fenghuang, the Chinese Phoenix is a mythological bird, that is said to reign over all other winged creatures. The males are known as Feng and the females as Huang. They are said to be similar in appearance to a peacock, but are about 130~170cm tall and colored in five vibrant shades. They sing a melody that spans five different notes. The Fenghuang is said to drink from sacred springs and feed on bamboo seeds, and nest only in wu t'ung trees. In the Classic of Rites, the Fenghuang is named as one of the four holy animals of Chinese mythology, along with the unicorn Qilin, the tortoise Gui Xian, and the dragon Long. With this papercraft you can create a bright, five-colored Fenghuang in flight position. The model measures approx. 65cm in length and 60cm across.
