The Tumbler

The film The Dark Knight's newest Batmobile, known as "The Tumbler" is without a doubt the most capable car on the road. How Stuff Works tells us the film's makers "manufactured four complete, street-ready race cars," which use an actual 5.7-liter Chevy V-8 engine. "This engine has been tuned so that it can provide the power necessary to take a 5,000-pound vehicle from zero to 60 mph in 5 seconds." Those enormous tires are real. "The rear tires are 37-inch-diameter, off-the-shelf, 4x4 mud tires called Super Swampers made by Interco," while the front features a set of Hoosier racing tires. The rear uses a standard truck axle, but the front wheels are not mounted on an axle at all. Each is instead mounted on "independent suspension elements inspired by the long-travel suspensions of Baja racing trucks. When airborne, the front wheels pop out about 30 inches on their suspensions to absorb the shock of a 30-foot fall."

Caudipteryx - Dinosaur

Caudipteryx means tail feather which is a birdlike reptile, an early stage of modern birds evolution. Its fossil recovered from China in 1997. The PT-76 is a Soviet light amphibious tank which was introduced in the early 1950s. Rizky Ferriansyah design and build this paper model. Overall, some 25 countries used the PT-76. This model textured with Indonesian Marines Corps color.

District 9 Alien Rifle 1:1

My first full scale paper model. It is an alien rifle model from District 9 Movie in life size dimension or 1 meter (3.28 feet) in my calculation. I use A3 size paper, contains 16 pages build able patterns. Available in two color version, orange and grey. Not like I usually do, this model is without wheatering effect, you may do it yourself if you want some realistic touch. In the movie this rifle is use by Wikus & Christopher while runaway from Johannesburg hospital. In the meantime you have to figure how to assembly this rifle since there are no instructions yet, happy building! Happy Thanksgiving day :)
