This is a paper craft of a pteranodon in flight with its wings spread wide. The pteranodon is one of the most well-known winged dinosaurs. Believed to have existed in the late Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic era, pteranodons have large, distinctive crests, and a wingspan of around 7 to 9 meters. Display this paper craft by placing it on the stand included, or use string to hang it from the ceiling.

Stegosaurus
The Stegosaurus is an herbivorous dinosaur that lived in North America in the late Jurassic period of the Mesozoic era. Ranging up to approximately 7 - 9 meters in length, the Stegosaurus’ most outstanding characteristic is the large bony plates running in a line down its back to its tail, alternating from side to side. Blood vessels developed in the surfaces and insides of these plates, perhaps to radiate heat and cool the body. With its small head, this dinosaur’s brain was only about as big as two or three ping-pong balls. The spines at the tip of its tail appear to have been used as weapons to protect the Stegosaurus against enemies.

Apatosaurus
The Apatosaurus is a large, herbivorous dinosaur whose habitat encompassed North America during the late Jurassic period of the Mesozoic era. Ranging up to roughly 21 meters in length, the Apatosaurus featured a large, stout body and a long neck. Famously, following the discoveries of Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus, it was determined that the two dinosaurs in fact represented the same species, differing only in stage of growth. Since the discovery of Apatosaurus had been announced first, its name was chosen as the official zoological name for the species.
