Nightmare is a non-damaging ghost-type move introduced in Generation II. Nightmare will fail if the target is not sleeping. It will end if the target awakens from its sleep and its effects will not continue if a target is put back to sleep. However, if the target is put to sleep in the same turn it was woken up by an item, the effects will continue.
Weavile's appearance looks like that of a bluish-black bipedal feline, clad in a bright red crown, and collar. Weavile has two tails, instead of three like its pre-evolved form. Unlike its pre-evolved form, there is no gem on its chest, and it has three claws on each paw, as opposed to just two.

Scizor are known to upraise their claws and wave them around to scare others, as their claws look like two heads. A Scizor's wings are not meant for flying but rather used to cool down body temperature; however, Scizor have been seen being able to 'glide' with their wings in the anime, by doing things such as riding wind currents, suggesting that their wings still possess minimal flight capability.

Lapras are social Pokémon, and they swim through the sea in large pods. They keep track of their fellow pod members through use of high-pitched songs they constantly sing, much like whales. Unfortunately they are very docile and do not like to fight, and this has made them an easy target for hunters. They are currently very rare in the wild. Their songs have become very sorrowful in recent times as it has become harder and harder for these peaceful Pokémon to find others of their kind. They are highly intelligent, and have been said to be able to learn human speech. They are very fond of ferrying people on their backs. Lapras is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Flaaffy's wool is similar to Mareep's in that it stores electricity; however, Flaaffy's wool is much more efficient, so that it can store more electricity than Mareep despite having less wool on its body. They also have rubbery skin to prevent themselves from being electrocuted. Unlike Mareep, Flaaffy are able to stand on their hind legs and are able to use their forelimbs to maniuplate things or deliver blows. It evolves from Mareep starting at level 15, and evolves into Ampharos starting at level 30.
Sharpedo is a generally dreaded and distrusted Pokémon. Sharpedo moves through the sea by swimming at speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph) by forcing water out of its rear. Its teeth are strong enough to bite through metal, and they grow back rapidly if they snap off. Sharpedo is driven by an unruly, caustic urge to attack and destroy anything that enters its domain. As a result of its temperament and its armament, just one Sharpedo can effectively tear apart an oil tanker. It evolves from Carvanha starting at level 30.
